Chiang Mai and a West Africa Reunion!
I was up too early, but that was okay as I had a leisurely morning and got my trip for the weekend properly researched.
My real crowns were put in at 9 and so far they feel really good. I have a final appointment Monday at 11:30 for a check of the crowns and a filling. My dentist doesn’t seem to like to do too much at a time!
I decided I needed to try Pad Thai again so googled and found “the best place for Pad Thai” in Chiang Mai called Aroy Dee. It was very strange eating since my meditation. I had to slow down, not to the zombie speed but to take my time and enjoy the flavours. I found that very interesting and hope I can continue to try to eat slowly.
The kitchen is in the front-
I guess I’m just not a lover of Pad Thai-
I went back to The Master at 1 p.m. to get my tattoo touched up and then spent the afternoon reading and drinking beer. What a life!
At 6:30 I met Don and Terry at a restaurant called Another World-
Terry, as well as Norm and I worked together as a cook group. I wish Norm was here too for a proper reunion! We had a great visit!
Tomorrow I will try to see the monks asking for alms before I pick up my bike at 7:30. I’m looking forward to seeing the countryside!
P.S.
Seems there are fights just about every night!
