Hoi An, Vietnam
I had a horrible sleep because the air conditioner shut off every 45 minutes so I woke up hot and the fan was very noisy. As promised though, I switched rooms-
Now this is what I expected and I think it’s what I should have had all along but it doesn’t matter, I am here now and loving it!
I took a tramadol 100 mg this morning and felt goofy all day. Did it help with my aching arm? It is hard to know because without you don’t know if the pain would be worse. My pain is only a three out of 10 - it’s very manageable so I am experimenting with the tramadol. You can take up to 400 mg each day. I’d be higher than a kite if I did that!
Today was the big day to order my pants and shoes. It is so difficult because you have to have a great imagination to know what you want and also trust the tailor that they know what you want.
After, I wandered around and had a salted cream coffee-
at the same coffee shop as yesterday- Bill Coffee Shop. I liked the egg coffee I had yesterday better.
I booked a coffee making class for tomorrow at 2 and booked my transportation to the airport on the 14th at 9 am.
I returned to the tailor at 4 pm to check out my pants. I love the color but they do need a few adjustments. I go back tomorrow at 11.
I go back to the shoe shop Wednesday at 9 am. I have pictures of the shoes I want so that should be easy for them. Now… will they fit?
I had butter chicken and butter garlic naan for lupper-
mailed something home-
It will be interesting to see how long they take and if they arrive at the same time.
I came back to my room in the drizzle, drank some wine and read a book.
It was a quiet but lovely evening.
