Vientiane, Laos to Siem Reap, Cambodia
I had a pretty good sleep but woke up once because my arm was killing me. I was on my side and it was bent underneath my body so no wonder. After a few stretches it was okay.
It stopped raining sometime in the night and the sky was clearing but it wasn’t too hot when I caught a cab for the airport. I first flew to Bangkok and for whatever odd reason, even though I was flying with the same airline - Air Asia, they weren’t able to give me my second boarding pass so I had to enter Thailand customs, go to the desk to check in, then exit Thailand! So weird. I had plenty of time so it didn’t matter but still! I was just glad I didn’t need a visa because I wouldn’t have bought a multiple entry one so don’t know what I’d have done. Anyway….
The second leg of my flight was to Seim Reap and after a bit of a delay I was on my way. I’ll be there 5 nights. I’m looking forward to some new scenery!
