Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico    December 23, 2023

Today was very slow,  I went to El Fogon on the recommendation of the man from outside of Toronto whom I talked to last night in the bar.  I got there right at 12 when it opened and in half an hour, it was packed.  The waiter suggested I try a taco loco-

It was a very large burrito and so huge I had to eat it with a knife and fork.  Needless to say I was stuffed when I finished it.  There was a nice slab of fried bacon on top too!

I wandered around, bought  a Tres Leche cake, stopped at a few street stands selling souvenirs and came home to read Yellow Wife which I finished.  It was excellent.

Tomorrow I catch the 35 minute Winjet Ferry to Cozumel at 10 a.m.  I’ll spend  4 nights in an Air BnB..
