We've had two long, hot and sweaty drive days as we head south to Malawi. Things didn't go so well as we were leaving Dar Es Salaam. We stopped at a red light and so did the SUV beside us, however, the bus following the SUV didn't. He hit the SUV-
And ended up beside us-
Very close-
Luckily no one was injured, except The Beast-
The sand mat hooks were damaged and she was scraped up a bit.
Quite a crowd gathered, but where are the women?
Once the police came and we went to the police station to get a copy of the official report to prevent complications at the border, we were on our way.
The sisal plant's leaves-
Are split and the fibres are used to make rope. The flower is very funny looking-
Driving through Mikuni National Park, we saw giraffe-
Zebra and gazelle-
As well as monkeys and elephants. All from the truck, without having to pay a park fee too. Pretty good deal!
The countryside-
Baobab trees are prominent in the book Le Petit Prince and they are as special as St. Ex described-
Tomorrow is the earliest start ever at 5 am as we head to Lake Malawi!
