Bushcamp Togo Border to Lomé, Togo, February 4, 2019

We were on the road by 7 and headed for a waterfall at Wome.  There is no way the truck could make it up the last 3 km so we hopped on the back of motorbikes.  The view was nice-

and so was the waterfall-

There was a very steep staircase down so my bike driver held my hand as we descended so I didn't have to go too slowly.  What an old woman!  After the waterfall, we stopped in Kpalime to see a few craft shops including one with masks-

and batik-

My favorite-

We stopped for lunch at a village that didn't have much, then headed on to Lomé.  Along the way-

Our fearless driver Will-

Driving through Lomé-

The peace dove in a Carrefour-

We are set up on a beautiful beach - I'm in a room! probably for 3 nights!  We will try to get a couple of visas tomorrow and hope to visit the fetish market!
