We were on good highway until we weren't. We didn't make it as far as we'd hoped so we bushcamped on the side of the road. Along the way, cemeteries seem to be randomly placed but the heads of the graves all face east. Most are not well cared for-
Huge trees have been cut down -
We got to a town where I headed off on a wild goose chase for a SIM card. The first Orange store didn't have power so I caught another cab with a funky dash decoration-
to another shop and after a painful 20 minutes, had the card. It's so weird because others got their cards in a matter of minutes. It just depends where you go and who you talk to. That reminds me about the taxi we came home in last night. All cabs in Man are lime green. This one had bright white vinyl seats with orange trim and bright LED interior lights that he never shut off. Music videos played in a screen where his rearview mirror should have been. It was a car ready for a party!
The white stuff is latex and is rubbery when dried. We also passed by a lot of blue bats swarming the skies-
Not only were the roads rough but some spots were very muddy-
We made it through no problem but tomorrow we might not be so lucky!
We stopped in a fairly big town for lunch where a large avocado costs 23 cents. I'll have it for lunch tomorrow-

There are a lot of rubber trees along the way. They are tapped like our maple trees but rather than use a hose, they carve the bark into a ledge that the liquid can run down to fill the small pail-
