Today is Nico's 25th birthday! Wow! I can vividly remember the day he was born. I wasn't feeling well in the morning, so Alice Weir, Jane's babysitter, came to pick her up. My water broke while I was sitting on the toilet - how lucky is that! I called Lionel. He came home and was busy doing something with the hood up on the car in the driveway while I was having a large contraction! Finally he came in and we left immediately for the hospital. I had big contractions along the way and Nico was born in 45 minutes - from start to finish! He was a little hellion - always doing something and he had a funny sense of humour. He loved to laugh and have fun. I often wonder what he would be doing today, where he would be living etc. I know he's happy and around, I just can't see him or hug him!
