Dunhuang, China

We spent the morning driving to Dunhuang.  More interesting signs along the way!

Our Chinese registration plate that rides on the dash, right beside the roll of toilet paper!

The view along the way as we now make our way through the Gobi Desert-

Melon drying in the sun-

More Chinglish in our hotel room-

In our shower-

On a menu-

A store front-

We ate at the night market at this restaurant, but we didn't try the donkey.  Apparently, it tastes like roast beef-

Supper was shashlyk (of course) and fried potatoes - very good!

They cook on coal.  That can't be good for you!!!

This was one monster of a beer!  Here are Will, Dave and Jan at the night market-

Having fun!
