Pucón, Chile, December 21, 2017

I slept in - until 7:45!  I love this hotel life, but the sun is shining so I'll move back to my tent.  I washed it last night because the rain had splashed dirt up about 8 inches all around the inside shell.  It will be nice and clean for tonight and dry!

Pucón, population 22,000 is on Lago Villarrica where it is possible to dive! I couldn't believe it but when I enquired, all you see are trees.  No thanks!  There is a small marina, a few sailboats and lots of ski boats.  I didn't see one pontoon or deck boat-

With a blue sky, Volcan Villarrica, 2847m was visible.  It last erupted in March 2015-

I cooked with Bijan and Marguerita and am hoping for a good sleep.  We start breakfast at 5:30 so it will be a short night!
