Bush camp Saudi to Manama, Bahrain   December 2, 2022

What a night!  Saudis never go to bed!  There was partying going on on the beach until about 4:30 this morning and that is without alcohol!  Believe it or not, I slept as well as I always do so it was no problem getting up at 4:15 for a 5:00 departure.

Our coach took us to the bus depot where we waited a couple of hours to go to Passport Island which is in the middle of the Arabian Gulf-

Surprisingly our coach was there too and after a bit of shouting and negotiating, our drivers were allowed into Bahrain.  

We are staying at a nice hotel-

in the middle of Manama.  We are close to a huge shopping mall filled with North American stores.  The best thing about today was happy hour at the bar in our hotel where drinks were 2 for 1.  There’s a nice view from the 28th floor-

Tomorrow I’m going to the old town and souq.
