Riyadh to Big Round Rock Camp, Saudi Arabia December 15, 2022
We were on the road by 7 and it was a looooooooong drive-
The “gates” into Riyadh-
Another weird piece of art between the highways-
Along the way-
The desert is never ending until-
The color is strange because I took these out the side window of the coach.
There is a rubby gas station every couple of hours or so-
It usually includes a restaurant or two, a grocery store, gas and diesel, disgusting toilets, a prayer area, a cell phone store, a coffee shop and lots of garbage.
We set up camp shortly after 4 so our tents could dry. This might be the nicest bushcamp so far-
Chef Karen-
